Question:    I am finding it difficult to make premium hands to stand up? How can I manage that?

Answer:    There could be MANY different reasons why you are not able to make premium hands to stand up. As you haven’t mentioned the size of poker games you generally play in, I think, first you have to re-examine your concept of a "premium hand". A-9 suited isn't really a premium hand, not unless you're on the button, have six people already in the pot and you can get in for one bet. The suited factor really matters significantly in those online poker games where a lot of people see the flop, and otherwise, A-9 is one of those hands that, usually, either wins a small pot or loses a big one. A-10 and A-J are certainly better, but even they have the same problem: kicker trouble on big pots.

As for 10-10 (and to a lesser extent, J-J), these are premium hands only if:
1) You are playing shorthanded; or
2) You can "make" the game shorthanded by three-betting and getting all those mediocre hands like K-J out; or
3) You can get in cheap and flop a set.

Premium hands are also very position-sensitive. On the button, with multi-way action and for one bet, I love 10-J suited. Even Q-Q isn't that awesome a hand against multiple opponents in loose poker games where people will be calling with junk like A-3. Against any one person individually, you're a big favorite with QQ, but against five callers, you're probably going to need help. Finally (and this advice may seem contrary to everything I've just said), if you  play "only" A-9 suited or better, or 10-10 or better, your play is probably too predictable. Thus, every once in a while, you need to play something else—not just garbage, but something, like 6-7 suited in later position--so that your opponents can be kept in the dark about your future moves.
