Question:    When I sit down for the first time at a casino poker table, how much is an opening bet?

Answer:    The value of an opening bet in an Internet poker game depends on the type of Poker game you are opting for like 2-4, 3-6 or 1-4. Suppose you are playing 2-4 game, then the bets and raises are in $2 increments on the opening rounds and $4 increments in the later rounds. Although, it won’t take you long to understand all this, still its better to watch this game for a while and then start playing. Opening bet is a live bet; the player has no option regarding the amount of the opening bet. If it is not a forced opening bet, then each time before sitting down to play, you will be given the option to select the value of the bet.
